Vivienne Westwood Opus Exhibition

Vivienne Westwood and luxury publisher Kraken Opus joined together to present the much anticipated limited edition The Vivienne Westwood Opus, the largest fashion book that ever been published which features photographs taken by the world’s largest 20×24 Polaroid camera. This extraordinary photographic exhibition held from 7th to 22th June 2008 at Elements, Tsimshatsui was open to the public for free.

At the grand opening ceremony, Moda Mia Limited invited Taiwanese artist Gue Lun-Mei, Wyman Wong, Emme Wong and other celebrities. Nelson Cheung, the renowned image director in town was MC of the event. Zeon Texeira, the Creative Director of Kraken Opus also flew all the way from England to Hong Kong to officiate at the ceremony.

Throughout this 16-day exhibition, more than 30 giant Polaroid photographs were displayed featuring Vivienne Westwood’s family and friends. These include super models Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Jerry Hall and her daughter Georgia May Jagger, famous film director Tim Burton, renowned actress Helena Bonham Carter, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, Sir Bob Geldof and models who have worn her collections in the past.
